MIAMI, FL – March 3, 2018 – Bast Amron LLP participated in Cycle for Survival, a national charity event founded in 2007 to raise crucial funds for rare cancer research.
The Bast Amron Team consisted of lawyers and staff from the firm. Individual team members solicited funds for the team and had the opportunity to cycle on stationary bicycles for a scheduled amount of time during the event.
“Rare cancer patients make up about half of all people fighting cancer, but they often have limited or no treatment options because rare cancer research is drastically underfunded.
Cycle for Survival raised $34 million in 2018—more than $173 million in a decade. Every single dollar is directly allocated to rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center within six months of the events”. “Not only is Bast Amron committed to helping our clients, but also to making an impact in our community,” said Brett M. Amron, co-founder, and partner at Bast Amron. “I am proud that so many of us at Bast Amron participated.”
