ALEJANDRA M. IGLESIA
Attorney
Alejandra M. Iglesia focuses her practice in the areas of complex business litigation and insolvency litigation. While her commercial litigation practice involves virtually every type of dispute that can arise in the business context, Alejandra practices with an emphasis on partnership and joint venture disputes, non-compete and/or non-solicitation agreements, breach of fiduciary duty allegations, fraud, and breach of contract cases. She also represents trustees in their investigation of potential claims against directors and officers of corporations that have filed for bankruptcy and have exposed themselves to liability through their actions or inaction.
Alejandra has experience advising her clients at every stage of the litigation process, including pre-litigation negotiations through trial. In her representation, Alejandra’s goal is to resolve her clients’ business disputes as efficiently and effectively, as possible, with minimum disruption to their business. In her practice, she prioritizes communication with her clients and assures that they understand every step of what can be a stressful and intrusive process.
In addition to her practice, Alejandra is also a member of the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar, wherein she forms part of various task forces and committees that assess, discuss, and redraft sections of the Florida Statutes that affect businesses and business owners across the state. She also enjoys preparing comments and revisions to proposed national and state-level regulations that impact businesses and business owners across the state of Florida.
