ABOUT Dana R. Quick
Dana R. Quick, is the first female and first LGBT identifying individual to be made partner by the firm. Dana has been a member of the Bast Amron team for over seven years, and she practices in the area of insolvency and commercial litigation. Her experience includes prosecuting director and officer liability claims; representing trustees, creditors, creditor committees, and debtors in bankruptcy proceedings; state court insolvency litigation; and prosecuting and defending preference actions. Additionally, Dana has significant experience representing and counseling companies of all sizes on employment issues, including ADA, FMLA, and Title VII matters. Prior to joining Bast Amron, Dana served as a law clerk to U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Laurel Myerson Isicoff.
ABOUT Peter J. Klock, II.
Peter J. Klock, II has been a member of the Bast Amron team for over four years, and he practices in the area of complex business litigation, with an emphasis on commercial disputes and the prosecution of director, officer, and fiduciary liability claims. He serves as outside general counsel and advises corporate clients regarding compliance with state, national, and international data privacy laws, including various state data protection and breach notification statutes, the Federal Trade Commission Act, and the General Data Protection Regulation. Peter also negotiates and drafts vendor agreements, master services agreements, statements of work, and service level agreements on behalf of corporate clients in the technology sector, and actively supports our community by representing, pro bono, a minor in Florida’s juvenile dependency courts, serving on committees dedicated to enhancing the practice of law in the state of Florida, and mentoring law students and young attorneys. Peter is a holder of the Certified Information Privacy Professional designation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals, was named as a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine in 2019, 2020, and 2021, and was named among Florida Trend’s Legal Elite for 2020.
Before joining Bast Amron, Peter served as a career judicial law clerk to the Honorable James Lawrence King in the Southern District of Florida.
