MIAMI, FL- August 12, 2024—Bast Amron proudly announces that Tanisha Wright has been selected as a fellow of the Dade Legal Aid 2024-2025 Leadership Academy Fellowship Class. The mission of Dade LegalAid’s Leadership Academy is to strengthen fellows’ leadership abilities and civic involvement by linking them with prominent Legal Leaders, judiciary members, and clients in need. Throughout the year, fellows will gain a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by Dade Legal Aid clients and the underserved in our community.
About the Dade Legal Aid Leadership Academy: Dade Legal Aid Leadership Academy prepares talented young lawyers for greater leadership roles throughout the community and beyond. Fellows gain invaluable experience and opportunities in a series of engaging sessions and networking facilitated by legal leaders that provide them with the tools and information necessary to expand and hone their leadership skills. The program is coordinated by Stephanie Grosman, Esquire, Project Attorney and Pro Bono Coordinator.
About Tanisha: Tanisha was a Bast Amron summer associate in 2022 and now joins the firm as an associate, where she will focus her practice on commercial litigation and insolvency litigation. Taisha graduated from the University of Miami School of Law cum laude, where she was a recipient of the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award (International Human Rights Law). She also received the CLEA Outstanding Clinical Team Award for the Innocence Clinic and the University of Miami’s Litigation Skills Program award from the firm Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton.
