Jeffrey P. Bast has been practicing insolvency law for more than 25 years. He represents clients on bankruptcy and bankruptcy avoidance, emphasizing corporate reorganization, workouts, creditors’ rights, and commercial litigation both in and out of bankruptcy court. He also provides insolvency-related transactional advice and has extensive experience with all aspects of bankruptcy sales and acquisitions. Jeff represents corporate and individual debtors, shareholders, trustees, receivers, indenture trustees and creditors’ committees, as well as secured and unsecured creditors in complex workouts, reorganizations, and liquidations.
Brett M. Amron has been a litigator his entire career. He advises clients in complex business and bankruptcy litigation matters with an emphasis on director and officer liability, breach of fiduciary duty, partnership and shareholder disputes, fraud, and avoidance and recovery of preferential and fraudulent transfers. Brett represents court-appointed fiduciaries, trustees, receivers, corporations, shareholders, individuals, creditors’ committees, and secured and unsecured creditors.
Scott N. Brown has been practicing in the bankruptcy/insolvency field for almost 16 years. He concentrates his practice on fiduciary representation, creditor’s rights, bankruptcy litigation and business reorganization. Scott has been a Chapter 7 Panel Trustee since 2011 and has also served in a variety of other fiduciary roles including as Chapter 11 trustee, Examiner, and Receiver. Scott is also active in a variety of industry and community organizations and is a past president of the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida.
Brian L. Tannebaum is the firm’s General Counsel and practices in the areas of Ethics and White Collar Defense, representing law firms as well as future, current, and former lawyers and legal professionals in matters before the Florida Bar and Board of Bar Examiners as well as in civil and criminal courts.
