MIAMI, FL – July 1, 2021 – Bast Amron announces that Bankruptcy attorney Hayley Harrison will serve as the 2021-2022 President of the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida. In this role, she is responsible for charting a direction for the entire organization and provide the oversight necessary to manage an organization with hundreds of members. Hayley has served on the BBASDFL board in various roles since 2013.
The Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida (BBASDFL) is the largest voluntary association of bankruptcy professionals in the Southern District of Florida. With hundreds of members, the BBASDFL organizes events to assist lawyers and judges in their work and sponsors initiatives to improve the bankruptcy system for the public. About Hayley Harrison: Hayley concentrates her practice in the areas of bankruptcy, insolvency, and commercial litigation. Hayley has honed her skills under the mentorship of the firms’ partners and has developed a significant practice and reputation in the legal community. Hayley primarily represents bankruptcy trustees in their administration of Chapter 7 debtor cases, including all aspects of analyzing avenues of recovery, the sale of bankruptcy estate assets, and the pursuit of avoidance actions and other litigation claims. She also advises debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, and interested parties in relation to their rights in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court proceedings, including workout negotiations. Hayley also represents fiduciaries in various capacities, most frequently, assignees in state court assignments for the benefit of creditors.
