MIAMI, August 16, 2021 – Bast Amron is pleased to introduce Ethan Katz, the newest member to join the firm.
Ethan was a Bast Amron summer associate in 2020 and now joins the firm as an associate, where he will focus his practice on commercial litigation and insolvency litigation. Ethan attended the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a member of the International and Comparative Law Review. He received the CALI Excellence For The Future Award in Bankruptcy Reorganization; the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award in Business Associations; the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award in Legal Communication & Research II; and a Dean’s Merit Scholarship. In May 2021, Ethan earned his J.D., graduating cum laude.

Ethan graduated from the University of Florida, Gainesville, with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, with a specialization in Urban and Regional Planning and a minor in Real Estate.
Ethan was a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Beth Bloom, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
