MIAMI – May 17, 2016 – Brett M. Amron, Partner at Bast Amron, has been appointed President of University of Florida Hillel. He has been an active Board Member for three years. Amron will serve a two year term.
The University of Florida Hillel is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that inspires future leaders to positively impact the world through a Jewish lens by connecting them with Israel, travel experiences, career advancement opportunities, and entrepreneurial endeavors. Amron focuses his practice in complex commercial litigation and bankruptcy and insolvency matters representing various constituents, including trustees, receivers, corporations, individuals, creditors’ committees, secured and unsecured creditors and debtors-in-possession. He has significant experience handling a wide variety of State and Federal Claims, including those involving director and officer liability, fraud, partnership and shareholder disputes, professional liability, and avoidance and recovery of preference and fraudulent transfers, across a number of industries at both the trial and appellate level.
