ABOUT NABT: The National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees is the only organization dedicated to the Chapter 7 and Subchapter V Trustee community. Our unrivaled education, invaluable connections, and indispensable solutions converge at our annual conference to provide trustees, and those with whom they work, the resources to excel at their profession.
There have been tremendous changes since our last in-person conference in 2019. The Small Business Reorganization Act of 2019 created the Subchapter V Trustee, and NABT welcomed these new trustees into the membership. To date, we have 181 of the total 280 subchapter V trustees as members. The global pandemic changed everyone’s lives overnight and trustees had to adapt to remote working, virtual 341s, and an evolving bankruptcy industry. In the recent months, NABT successfully gained the long-awaited fee increase for trustees and played an integral part in extending debt limits for subchapter V filings.
These are just a few of the things you can expect to hear about at this year’s Annual Conference. Joining our traditional Chapter 7 Trustee and Trustee Assistant tracks is the new Subchapter V Trustee track. There is no better opportunity for education, professional development, and networking than attending this extraordinary event. So, make plans today to join your colleagues in the Windy City, Chicago, Illinois. Looking for virtual registration? Click HERE.
