BAST AMRON is a boutique law firm focused on the resolution of complex business and insolvency disputes. We provide comprehensive advice and service to our clients in all aspects of commercial litigation and insolvency matters. Jeffrey Bast and Brett Amron bring complementary backgrounds and experience to BAST AMRON. Jeffrey completed two bankruptcy clerkships before joining the large international firms where he eventually became a partner. Brett was a prosecutor in Miami-Dade County before joining a large local firm where he later became a partner. Throughout their careers, Jeffrey and Brett each represented a variety of clients with complex insolvency and litigation issues. In early 2008, they each left their large firms to open and develop their own practices. During that time, Jeffrey and Brett identified synergies in their practices and skillsets. In May 2009, they decided to join forces to establish BAST AMRON.
At BAST AMRON, we offer our clients exceptional service from attorneys whose experience reflects the quality and depth of a large firm, with the service and agility of a boutique. The result is legal representation delivered by skilled lawyers in the most effective manner. An efficient structure allows us to tailor our legal services to meet our clients’ needs, expectations, and budgets. From the outset of our relationship with each client, BAST AMRON works to develop real-time business solutions, formulate creative strategies, and provide effective counsel based on the needs and goals of the client.
We have extensive experience in all types of commercial litigation. We regularly handle litigation all around the country, in state and federal courts, on behalf of plaintiffs, defendants, and third parties affected by litigation. We diligently prepare each case with the expectation that it will go to trial because we know that cases are won or lost long before the actual trial. Our structure allows us to be both creative in our approach and aggressive with our tactics, and our results speak for themselves. Our insolvency practice focuses on workouts, restructurings, liquidations, bankruptcy, and bankruptcy avoidance. We represent debtors, creditors, committees, trustees, and other fiduciaries in bankruptcies, receiverships, and assignments for the benefit of creditors. We also have significant experience with all aspects of insolvency transactions, representing lenders, buyers, and sellers.
